Following the success of the first two S1GP Supermoto Hungarian Grands Prix, preparations are now underway for the third edition, which, just like this year, will once again serve as an end-of-summer event. The S1GP Hungarian Grand Prix will return to BSSW Visonta from 3–5 September 2027. Weekend passes are already available on the S1GP.hu website, and as part of an introductory offer, fans can purchase a weekend pass for HUF 6,990 – the same price as a Saturday day ticket in 2026.
One of the new features for the 2027 event is that, in addition to the free parking option that will remain available, the organisers will also open the South Car Park to spectators. It will be available on both Saturday and Sunday with a daily parking ticket priced at HUF 2,000. Spaces in the car park can be reserved subject to availability. Sales of VIP and Paddock tickets have also started alongside the weekend passes, while day tickets will go on sale at a later date.
“This year, we launched several new initiatives, including air shows, a start ceremony and a motorcycle parade, all of which received positive feedback from spectators, riders and our partners. Next year, we will place an even greater emphasis on the community experience, because in addition to cheering on the Hungarian riders together, the S1GP Hungarian Grand Prix promises to be memorable for the atmosphere and the shared experiences as well,” said Adél Kolarovszki, Managing Director of Black Star Speedway.
Four categories, championship decider in Visonta
The 2026 S1GP Hungarian Grand Prix brought the international supermoto scene to Visonta for three days. The race weekend featured four categories – S1GP, S2, S4 and SM Junior – bringing together the World Championship field, European Championship competitors and the sport’s young riders. Alongside the international competitors, the home crowd also had Hungarian riders to cheer for, making the weekend not only a showcase of international motorsport but also a celebration of Hungary’s presence in supermoto.
Next year will be no different. The S4 category received an immediately positive response from both spectators and riders, so it will remain on the programme in 2027. Once again, Visonta will host the final round of the series, meaning that the championship title will be decided at the circuit in this category, which is also popular among Hungarian riders.
Non-stop activities and an evolving show programme
The Hungarian Grand Prix is about much more than racing. In 2026, the aim was to create a complete weekend-long motorsport experience, combining the races with spectacular show programmes and family activities. These efforts proved successful, with a significant increase in attendance and strong interest in the events taking place beyond the racing programme.
A variety of spectacular displays followed one another both on the track and in the air. The weekend featured motorcycle shows by Attila Palatinus and Balázs “Mókus” Herczeg, a drift show by Olivér Ámon, as well as an aerobatic display by Péter Besenyei. The programme was complemented by a motorcycle meet-up, children’s activities and further on-site attractions, while in the paddock visitors could get an up-close look at the world of racing, meet the riders and teams, and see the race bikes at close quarters.

Saturday was also dedicated to the motorcycle community, with organised motorcycle tours arriving at the event. As a result, not only the grandstands and paddock but also the roads leading to Black Star Speedway were filled with motorcyclists. Arriving together and taking part in the on-site motorcycle activities further strengthened the sense of community that the S1GP Hungarian Grand Prix aims to represent alongside the racing itself.
The three days therefore combined World Championship racing, spectacular motorsport shows and a shared community experience. The 2026 weekend demonstrated that the Hungarian round of the FIM Supermoto World Championship is much more than a traditional race event: it is an experience where motorsport fans, families and even those discovering supermoto live for the first time can all find something to enjoy.
S1GP Hungary will continue to build on these foundations in 2027. From 3–5 September, the FIM Supermoto World Championship will return to Hungary for the third time, with the aim of creating an even bigger and more spectacular race weekend. Alongside world-class racing, show programmes and spectator experiences will once again play a key role in 2027, while the organisers are also preparing new additions to the event.
